What is it?
The concept of Retirement Villages is well established and operating in several countries throughout Europe, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. A Retirement Village provides safe, secure and convenient living for persons over 65. It is proven that Seniors live longer and healthier lives at home as part of an active community.
Our Approach
Arc Villages has been established to design, develop and operate retirement villages in Ireland.
Design
We are creating A-rated, NZEB, energy efficient and thoughtfully designed buildings for later living, targeting a Net Zero village. All of our homes are designed to Universal Design Standards homes for maximum comfort and accessibility but also the ability to allow future adaptability if required. Village clubhouse buildings are equally designed as energy efficient and provide a welcome reception for residents and family. Landscaped grounds are designed to promote mobility and activity in a safe and beautiful environment. Each home is designed with assistive technology for comfort, convenience and safety.
Development
Our development team will manage the development process from site selection through to handover to the operations team.
Operate
Our on-site Village Team will manage the effective operation of the village and its activities. They will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the village; organising activities and clubs, maintenance, landscaping, housekeeping. Each village will have Pavillion clubhouse to provide communal space for social and recreational activities in addition to external health and wellbeing activities.
Continued Investment
Arc Villages will retain a number of properties within the villages for rental purposes. To ensure the ongoing provision of services for the entire village, we are a co-owner of property along with the new residents. We are committed to the long-term success of each retirement village.
